The Winter 2008 Collection is out! The Winter 2008 Collection is out. It is one of Keyna's largest collections ever and probably one of the most coherent and quality focused to date. We hope you enjoy it.
Just like in 2006-07 when Keyna created two collections based on the
"Samurai's at the Met..." theme, the Winter 2008 Collection is the
continuation of the former one from Spring - Summer 2008. It is called "Visit
hos excentriks dam - Part II" or "Visit at an excentric lady - Part II" after a
painting from 1921 by the Swedish surrealist Nils Von Dardel.
This time Keyna has focused on another aspects of the painting than in part I.
Again it is the 1920s, but this time it is the way the painter has dressed the
objects, the volumes the garments creates, the way the they fall on bodies of
the people in the picture and the dark colours.
Some garments can be used as both dress and skirt and the user can decide
for themselves how to use the garment depending on the occation or mood.
Keyna has used delicate and comfortable jersey, bamboo and cashmere wool
and combined with extra thin, lamb skin with folders.
Fabrics used are exclusively from Italian, Japanese and French producers and
are of high quality. We seek to use natural fiber, quality silk woven in Italy or
France, laces from Calais made on machines from the 19th century, wool from
Italy and jersey from Japan. We strive to honor the term prêt-à-porter couture
regarding quality in materials and craftmanship in a commercial format.
