The Summer 2009 Collection is out! The Summer 2009 Collection is out. It is the largest collections so far and probably one of the most coherent and quality focused to date. We hope you enjoy it.
This collection is called "Show... Part I" inspired from elements of architecture of modern buildings, but safely anchored in the realms of the usual 1920s.
Modern architecture is all about volumes, lines, forms and objects. In this collection we are seeking to explore this in clothing using clean lines, volumes and space on top of a 1920 foundation based on Japanese traditional cloths from that era.
The collection's main colours are black, dark grey and dark grey-violet.
Keyna's collections aspires to stand up to the term prêt-à-porter couture and
the requirements which that implies on material quality, first class handicraft
and at the same time a commercial format.
Our aspiration is to create a style and not follow a trend. Timeless pieces that can be reused year after year unaffected by shifting trends. Friendly with our environment.
Keyna has mainly used silk and cotton for this collection. She has used a variety of different types of these fabrics: Jersey, Organza, Poppelin, Batist and Cotton Twill. There is also lamb skin with print and folders in several of the pieces.
Folders and drapery as usual, lamb skin in belts, the neck, etc. Keyna also mix Jersey and Organza in some pieces and uses folders to create volume.
